I’ve been spending lots of time in the kitchen this week discovering new recipes and flavours and I’m having so much fun! One of my favourites is the a Vegan haggis which tastes so much better than it sounds! I’ll be posting that recipe in the next few days.
This week I’ve been working on a tandoori chicken alternative, the first time I used far far to many spices and the first mouthful brought tears to my eyes! After a bit of tweaking though this proved a hit among my fussier housemates!
Use onions, chickpeas,lentils,tandoori spices, sallt and pepper, lemon and coriander. Mix together in a bowl and then place on a baking tray in round balls. Cook until firm and serve.
p.s. mine all fell apart when I took them out of the oven, but they still taste great
